Yoga classes were awesome, core postures workshop a big help and 2nd series a great offering
Dr. Shekhar is truly a gift, his consultation helped me incredibly. He is intuitive, perceptive, funny, and right on . . .
Wonderful bonding experience with others at the retreat
Location was surprisingly comfortable and fun, beautiful porch, awesome hikes
Yoga classes were more intimate 2 instructors in each class a bonus (lots of assists)
Cool meditations
The food classes and Suzanne were superb
Yoga classes were splendid, had great input, insight, and feel prepared to move forward with my practice—what a great feeling!
The food and Ayurveda was exactly what I needed, I ate better this weekend than I have in my entire life!
The most amazing mind, body, and soul connection.
The food was fabulous!
This retreat opened up a new way of being for me!
Notes from Joan
When I think about the retreat experience, this is what I think of:
feeling of peace, strength and community.
just being present.
complete relaxation of the body and mind.
the soul energized by the positive energy.
So many good souls.
Feeling whole and me again. Lost soul found.
Hanna's presence was a blessing in disguise. Children have a natural talent to bring joy to hearts and smiles to faces. Her special prayers were priceless and to be cherished.
Working as individuals, pairs and as a whole group to move in positive directions stretching our limits.
Aromatic smells of spices and incense filling the mansion air.
All stresses left behind. Time to fully concentrate on me, my practice and those around me.
Fresh approach to cooking, health and life in general. So many lessons learned.
Friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Many challenges met, overcome and still to face in practice and incorporating healthy daily routines.
Friendships formed.
Climbing mountains mentally and physically.
Learning from others and self.
New horizons.
Transformation.
A gain of awareness, appreciation and a better understanding of life, although much to learn yet.
Smell of leaves on the hike.
Fresh morning mountain air as the saw whet owl calls.
Moon and venus.
Search for the underground railroad.
Morning journaling and kitchen talk.
Helping hands.
Move forward, unknown.
Holding hands, prayer, meditation, oms.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda deals with how to live a healthy, balanced life. It is a traditional, holistic system of health science from India, which has been practiced for over 5,000 years. Ayurveda seeks to restore the natural balance and state of health to mind, body & soul. Through its body-mind-soul approach, Ayurveda has been found to significantly improve several chronic health conditions. Ayurveda focuses on living in tune with nature. By connecting mind, body and soul, Ayurveda strives to improve harmony and happiness in an individual. Ayurveda emphasizes the maintenance of good health through a balanced daily routine, seasonal regime, and a wholesome diet. Ayurveda considers each person to be unique due to his or her unique mind-body-soul constitution (Prakriti). Ayurveda is not just a system of alternative medicine, but is actually an ancient science of health. A life lived in tune with Nature and Ayurvedic principles is invariably a happy, healthy and balanced one. Learn a new way to look at life and health!

What is Ashtanga Yoga?
Ashtanga yoga is a form of yoga developed in Mysore, India by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, designed to detoxify and align the body. It is preferred by those looking for a balanced program between exercise for the body, breathing and meditation for the mind, and relief from stress and pain. Yoga benefits body, mind, and spirit.
We promote the educational aspect of the practice and give students access to where these ideas have come from, in each class we teach and share the philosophies of yoga. We teach to accommodate every body during class no matter what your level of yoga experience—individual attention will be given to each person.
BOBBI MISITI has studied Ashtanga Yoga extensively with Nancy Gilgoff and teaches as she has been taught in the classic method of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Bobbi has been teaching yoga since 1997 and prior to that taught health, wellness and exercise since 1990. in 2001 Bobbi founded Be Fit Body & Mind Yoga, a yoga studio dedicated to the teachings of Ashtanga Yoga.
