Keeping our body cool from the inside out helps us manage summer heat. In ayurveda we use cooling foods and herbs to reduce heat in our bodies.
Here are simple infused waters that cool your body. Each morning fill a pitcher with spring water and add:
*fresh mint from your garden (lots of it)
*OR slice a cucumber and place in water
Let this sit for an hour or so, then sip your water all day long. Very refreshing, cooling, and the herbs or vegetables add nutrients to your water.
