Horseradish for Chest Congestion

Ingredients

  • 8-12" chunk of horseradish, grated
  • 1 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

Mix together in a small jar.  Can be stored in fridge for 4-5 weeks.

Eat 1/2 to 1 tsp 3x per day until congestion clears up.

You can purchase already ground up horseradish in jars with the same ingredients as the recipe (it is how they preserve it for selling), however make sure you read the ingredients label — many manufacturers sadly add fillers and other ingredients.  When in Central PA there is a brand called Fisher’s out of Ronks, PA that is sold at the West Shore Farmers Market that I like.
