  • Workshop Camp Hill, PA Monday December 11 5:30-7:30pm at Body Mind & Core
    What is Raising your Kundalini?

    Workshop + Led latter half of primary into first half of intermediate.
    Learn what it means to raise your kundalini, in real life. Bobbi takes esoteric, seemingly hard to apply yoga theories and teaches you the science behind them and how to use and apply them to enhance your wellbeing. This mini workshop will briefly explore the chakras and their influence on us, then give you the science in the body on your kundalini and what it means.

    Bobbi will then gently lead you through a practice, giving you of modifications where necessary and tips to safely practice in an inviting and warm environment. This workshop is open to all students and teachers who have an interest in a yoga practice.

    Second series can be intimidating, but don’t let it intimidate you! It is a graceful arrangement of poses that is more accessible than most people realize. Every asana can be modified and demystified to suit each individual. Bobbi will gently lead you through the series, slowly giving you lots of modifications and tips to safely explore each asana in an inviting and warm environment. This workshop is open to all students and teachers who have an interest in the Ashtanga practice.  

    Schedule
    Friday 5:30 pm-7:30 pm
    Why back bending? When and how to start and how to progress. Practice will be led through the first half of second series.

    Saturday 12 noon-3:00 pm
    Introduce how to practice and modify the leg behind the head series. Practice will be led up to pincha mayurasana (forearm balance).

    Sunday 12 noon-3:00 pm 
    Full 2nd series led gently and compassionately! Some time will be spent to break down and learn the more advanced poses in the series.

    • Saturday 12:30 – 2:30p: Asthanga Yoga and the Subtle Body – Workshop on the layers of the subtle body and how to keep them healthy.
    • Sunday 11:00a -12:30p: Short Pranayama + Led Primary with subtle body and internal cues.
    • Sunday 1:00 – 3:00p: Workshop – Healthy Foods and Why. Some of the topics covered include protein, figuring out your macros, why organic, epinutrients, and the benefit of the colors in plant based foods.

    $85 per day in person, $50 online (Saturday & Sunday) / Friday cost $45 in person, $25 online

What does sitting and breathing do for one and why would one want to spend time doing that? Because its a very simple practice that needs no equipment and just a little time that improves your health, reduces stress, and makes you feel good! Breathing exercises carry many of the same benefits as exercise without the wear and tear on the body. Try it and discover the magic of breathing for yourself!

Workshop will be a blend of breathing practices and learning about the breathing process in the body and the philosophy behind the practices. The first month will have slightly more breathing education, the second month sessions will be less talking and more breathing. 

Workshop is tailored to beginners but all levels will learn and benefit. The workshop starts with easy breathing basics and builds upon each weeks experience and knowledge.

  • April & May 2022 – Haiku, Maui Yoga Classes – For the months of April & May Bobbi will be offering yoga classes and several workshops at the House of Yoga & Zen. Come visit Maui, attend morning classes or a 4-5 day workshop then enjoy the island of Maui.     • Body, Mind, & Physiology – Yoga Beyond your muscles and bones.
      Learn how the asanas effect your organs and nervous system and simple lifestyle approaches on how to use your yoga and lifestyle off your mat preventing disease and creating vitality in your body. We also look at some pathophysiology that can be improved through lifestyle, and the emotional connections to the organs and diseases.

      This full workshop is 12 sessions long and comes with a lot of information, we will try to get through the first half. Registration and details here
